    Our next event is a viewing party for the USA Cycling Collegiate Championship!

    Taco bar, sandwiches, sodas & beer!

    Come watch the races from the best seats in the neighborhood! We’ll have the big garage door style windows rolled up so we can see the cyclists whipping past.

    Admission is $10/indiv or $20/family, or free with TLNA renewal or new membership. See you there!

    Email us new or old photos of yourself or neighbors with your bikes at [email protected]

    We’ll share them on the TV screens during the party!

    • Race begins at 11:00 a.m. from the Tenney Park Pavilion

    • Make a quick or leisurely loop around the island in the water

    • No registration necessary

    • PICNIC THIS YEAR!

    FAQ

    • Will there be prizes?

      • Ribbons to the 60 youngest finishers!

      • Special prizes for taxidermy and for sparkliest boat (yellow boats disqualified).

      • Other categories/competitions may be announced.

    • Is this a race?

      • If you want to race, you should try to go fast. If you don’t, take your time.

    • How long will it take!?

      • If you try hard, under 10 minutes. If you don’t, maybe 20?

    • Do I need a life jacket?

      • Yes

     
    • Costumes?

      • Tolerated, but the Fools Flotilla is just 3 weeks later


    • Did you finally get a good bullhorn or timer this year?
      • No

    • Water guns?
      • No
     
    • Preschool karaoke?
      • a strong possibility, during post-lap activities
     
    • Can I swim it?
      • if you really want to
    • PICNIC?

      • YES! this year we will have some drinks and popcorn! as well as snacks! Brring a sandwich or some nettle soup and hang out for a bit afterwards to celebrate/congratulate your neighbors for completing the gruelling circumnavigation!

    • Alas, I have no lagoonworthy craft/I am short life jackets!
