    Dayton Hotel Steering Committee

    April 7, 2022

We will be having our next and last meeting Thursday 7 April 6:00 pm by Zoom.  In the meantime, I will be preparing a steering committee report that we will review and finalize.  The TLNA council will review the document on 14 April.

I know that 3 meetings is a lot for all of us, but we've been successful at keeping them under 90 minutes.  I would like to encourage everyone to participate in the last meeting or by email message to me so that your opinions are included in the report.

You can review the developer's presentation at our meeting here:  https://tenneylapham.org/about-tlna/development/dayton-hotel/

    Earth Day parks clean up

    All day
    April 23, 2022

    Hello friends and neighbors,
It's that time of year again where we have a joint effort, along with Madison Parks dept., to clean up our neighborhood parks on Earth Day, Saturday April 23rd.
Our neighborhood had a great turn out last year for all 4 of our neighborhood parks. I remember walking through Tenny to the start location and thinking, wow, there's not a lot of trash in this park; however, once our crew got going I was amazed at the amount of garbage we cleaned out of the park. This is a great event for singles and families and last year we even had groups of friends who made up their own small teams.
We are looking for volunteers at James Madison park, Tenny park, Reynolds and Giddings park.  Start time is 10 a.m. Supplies, such as bags and gloves are provided by the Madison Parks dept.
At James Madison and Reynolds we will be doing mulching in addition to clean up.
Please email me if you are able to volunteer and let me know your park preference.
    Thank you!!
    Pat Kelly
